Safe

I am lucky and am safe in Japan.  A huge earthquake hit northern honshu island today at 2:46 pm (Japanese time).  I am in Hiroshima now and didn't feel it- many of my friends were in Tokyo and their encounters with the earthquake sound terrifying, especially my friends who were on the 15th and 26th floors of buildings.  But my host family and friends in Tokyo are all safe and sound. Please be thinking of the people in Northern Honshu- entire towns were swept away by the Tsunamis.. And it's not over.
